Join us for Know Yourself Camp — a joyful, healing-centered experience where families create music, dance together, and walk away feeling more connected than ever.
This free, one-day event, in collaboration with San Francisco International Hip Hop DanceFest (SFIHHDF), invites youth (ages 7–12) and their parents/caregivers to bond through mindfulness, rhythm, and self-expression. Walking away feeling Seen, Heard, and Understood.
Start the Day with Grounding
Mindfulness and grounding exercises help start your families day off for all participants. This helps ground you for the activities of the day.
Dance + Music, Side-by-Side
Some families head to the dance floor with SFIHHDF, while others co-create original songs with our artist facilitators
Create Something Real
Families lead the process — writing lyrics, sharing affirmations, and building a beat that reflects their truth
Lunch + Connection Time
Build community with other families in a relaxed, and welcoming space
Showcase to End the Day
Celebrate your growth with a performance — families cheer each other on in a moment of joy and pride
Community Song Circle
Co-write a song with your child and participating families — led by artists, powered by your creativity.
The Dance Floor Breakthrough
Let go, move together, and feel connected through movement.
The Calm Kit
Take-home tools for mindful moments at home (affirmation coloring pages, prompts, family reflections and participation gifts).
The Village Vibe
Connect with other families who value healing, art, and culture.

Is it really free?
Yes! It’s 100% grant-funded and completely free for families.
Do I need to be the biological parent?
Not at all. We welcome all caregivers, aunties, uncles, grandparents, mentors — if you love and care for a young person, you're invited.
What if I have no experience with music or dance?
Perfect. You’ll fit right in. We meet you where you are — no skills needed, just openness.
